Most often, these are infections such as chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea or trichomoniasis. Passing from the urinary tract and bladder to the prostate via lymphatic or blood vessels in the pelvis, the infection impairs the blood supply to the prostate, causing congestion or (in very rare cases) blood poisoning. But this does not always provoke the development of inflammation - it requires the above factors, without which the disease may not manifest itself.

The acute form of prostatitis is the main cause of unpleasant and painful sensations when going to the toilet. Often the patient also has a fever (up to 40 degrees), chills, malaise, pain in the perineum. In the acute form, edema of the prostate occurs, which disrupts normal urination. At the first symptoms, you should immediately make an appointment with a urologist, since any delay in treatment can lead to the transformation of the disease into a chronic form. At the same time, with acute prostatitis, the chances of complete recovery are almost always high, although complex treatment is required. It usually includes antiviral drugs, ultrasound, physiotherapy, reflexology, and prostate massage.

The chronic form of prostatitis develops 3-6 months after the onset of the acute form, if no treatment has been carried out. In this form, the disease can remain invisible for a long time, but under certain conditions exacerbations are possible. The danger of prostatitis is that it can lead to other, much more unpleasant diseases: vesiculitis, fibrosis, inflammation of the appendages, then erectile dysfunction (impotence) and, as a result, infertility.

Treatment of prostatitis with folk remedies

Prostatitis in acute form or with complications is treated only in a hospital under the supervision of doctors. They perform complete diagnostics, PCR, uroflowmetry, perform blood and urine tests, detect the presence of viruses or dangerous bacteria. And only then, depending on the established reasons, antibiotics, immunostimulants, laser and physiotherapy are prescribed. Severe cases may also require surgery.

Treatment of prostatitis at home will be effective only in the absence of complications or with relapse of the chronic form. Usually, folk remedies for prostatitis are designed to reduce pain, increase immunity, and help eliminate pelvic edema.

  • Lift your legs while lying on your stomach (about 20 times per approach), but you don't have to do this exercise 100 times so as not to overwork yourself;
  • Do "scissors": sit on the floor, find a support for your hands behind your back, lift your legs in the air and cross them, leaving the right and left alternately at the top. With this exercise, do not get tired either.

Along with squats, these exercises should give a total of 100-150 times - then treating prostatitis at home will be most effective, and medication may not be needed.

Other exercises for prostatitis

  1. Lie on your back, bend your legs and put them on you - your knees should reach your face. With your arms around your legs, lie down for 3 to 20 minutes. This exercise for the treatment of prostatitis will also be very effective, but you need to be very patient. And the longer you can lie in this position, the better. But don't overdo it! More than 20 minutes at a time is strongly discouraged.
  2. Perineal massage is also one of the most effective exercises against prostatitis. Do this in the morning, right after sleeping, to relieve prostate congestion.
  3. Another effective exercise is done right before your morning meal. Stand to your full height, bring your legs together, and do a third of your regular squat. Freeze in this position and start moving your knees forward one by one: left and then right. Do this exercise for 5 minutes. You can repeat the same thing in the evening. It is quite a complicated method and maybe not easy, but if it is done regularly, you will get used to it and be able not only to cure prostatitis, but also to carry out its regular prophylaxis.

Pumpkin seeds for prostatitis

Pumpkin seeds have long been popular in the treatment of prostatitis. It is a very powerful and at the same time affordable and inexpensive folk remedy. They contain a large amount of zinc, which is necessary for a man of any age - its daily part is contained in only 30 seeds. Just eat dried seeds before meals every day and you will see improvement quickly.

Another way is to peel a pound of seeds and run them through a meat grinder. The main thing is that they are not fried, otherwise you will not get the desired effect. Add 200 to 250 grams of honey and stir. From the resulting mass, make small balls no less than a dab. Store these balls in the refrigerator, arranging a few in advance before use.

Eat these scoops one at a time half an hour before meals, twice a day. But do not swallow it quickly, but chew it slowly for several minutes. As a rule, such treatment is very effective, and one treatment per year will be enough to prevent relapses.

Treatment of hazelnut prostatitis

To prepare this product you need bark or leaves - both will work equally well. You can even use them one at a time, but it is advisable not to mix them. It's also important to remember that the bark takes twice as long to brew.

  • It is advisable to exclude the bread or to reduce its quantity to 200 grams, but not fresh, but the time to "lie down" a little;
  • Eliminate meat, fish, sausages, eggs, candies, cheese and other dairy products from the diet;
  • Be sure to exclude alcohol and tobacco;
  • But at the same time, you can freely use a variety of grains, nuts, fruits and sunflower oil.

Parsley for prostatitis

Parsley is an extremely healthy plant that has many medicinal properties. In particular, these include the ability to stop inflammation and normalize the functions of the genitals. In cooking, we use parsley because of its high taste, but in fact it is a powerful medicinal herb and contains many beneficial trace elements and vitamins.

For example, 100 grams of parsley contains the daily requirement for vitamin A, which makes parsley very beneficial for the eyesight. At the same time, the content of vitamin C is several times higher than that of lemons. In addition, parsley contains inulin (natural insulin), which effectively regulates blood sugar levels and has a beneficial effect on the intestines.

To combat prostatitis, you need to drink a tablespoon of parsley juice 3 times a day for half an hour before meals. You can also use chopped parsley seeds: pour a glass of boiling water over it and simmer for 15 minutes. Take the broth 5-6 times a day for a tablespoon.

In addition, regular physical activity, which helps to improve blood circulation in the pelvic organs, will be a very good preventive measure. A correct and well-oiled diet will also help. It is worth noting that these points will allow you to avoid many diseases that threaten a person after 30 years.
